Questions, questions…

If you have got this far you are obviously keen to improve yourself as a presenter.

If I was you, my next thought might be, how much is it, how long does it take, can we do this online, is it only 1 to 1, can I join a group programme? Or perhaps some other question.

The most important thing is to answer the question, do you think you can help me?

To answer that we need to talk, but first let me say this….

From the people I have worked with, there are some common myths they hold which ultimately hold them back. You need to be naturally gifted to be a good presenter, the more speaking I do the better I will get, if I do all the right ‘things’ I will be a better speaker…

Unfortunately, these aren’t true. You are an individual and you won’t present like me because you, are you. As such we need to work out what you do well and what improvements can be made to enhance both you as a presenter and the presentations you give.

There are skills you can learn to help with this, a key one is the art of evaluating the speaking performance of others. Then you can deconstruct both a presentation and what a presenter does. Once you can do that, it is far far easier to understand what you do well and what you can enhance.

So, if you want to learn the nuts and bolts of constructing a presentation, what you do well, what you can enhance and how to do. Plus more about using your voice, storytelling, stage presence, engaging with the audience whatever the size, then let’s talk.

The next step is to call me or email, you are not committing to anything by doing that. We can then speak and you can tell me your story and I can answer any questions you have. We can then chat through what I think is best and we may end up working together.

Whatever happens, the most important thing is you find your voice and become the best speaker you can be.

“If you're not comfortable with public speaking - and nobody starts out comfortable; you have to learn how to be comfortable - practise.

I cannot overstate the importance of practising.

Get some close friends or family members to help evaluate you, or somebody at work that you trust.”
